Yes... yes... I love that. I am feeling very humanitarian today, maybe Ill get a handful of $5 cards and hand them out this weekend

Why buy gift cards. Their new policy is "no purchase" necessary. Just print up some flyers with directions to the nearest locations and pass them out under the bridges.

Can the donated $5 cards be deducted from your taxes? Big Grin

I was in a Starbuck and used the men's room, someone wrote two things in Sharpie marker:
"Do NOT Pee here" on the floor drain
and on the lid of the toilet:
Do NOT remove this lid and crap here.

The floor was definitely pee'd on, in or near....

Or round up a bunch of wifi capable phones that have been cleared of personal information and show them how to take up all their wifi. That way the paying customers don't get any wifi. Big Grin

And make sure they go to sites that need a lot of data, video websites like YouTube. Big Grin

Starbucks has dug themselves into a corner that no matter what they do or say, they are going to look like asses.

I couldn’t be any happier at this very moment

But they won't learn anything until sales and profits drop. But I can bet a lunch that even after that happens, they will come up with some other "reason" why it happened and not because of their dumb ass politics.

What the hell is so great about their coffee? I'm not a coffee drinker so I wouldn't know.

Get them used to going there, drinking coffee, hanging out, etc. When the $5 runs out, hopefully they'll take advantage of "no purchase" necessary policy which'll likely lead to panhandling, making bathrooms uninhabitable, vomiting on sidewalks, peeing on sidewalks, etc.

Or how about coming in with an electric powered sewer drain cleaner? (Kinda stinky from the last job) You know, because soon they'll need it anyway, and I can respond immediately.

Bring in a paper grocery bag with some horrible smelling stuff. Crap, moldy food, old milk, whatever. Set up at a table then leave to use the restroom.

When you leave just forget to pick up the bag.

It used to be better than most of what you'd get in restaurants or what people brewed at home. Used to be. Not so much any more. Not when you can get premium brew at McD's and the like, buy whole-bean estate coffees at Costco and Sam's Club, there are independent coffee roasters everywhere, it's easy to roast your own, and there are affordable home espresso machines.

Starbucks coffee is merely tolerable, to my palate.

There are so many smaller independent coffee roaster around here that offer a much better product. There are 2 coffee roasters within 5 miles of my house that I know of (I can tell by the smell). My go-to coffee stand is a local 4 stand operation.
The best cup of coffee that I ever had was from a small Italian restaurant on Columbus Ave in San Francisco about 10 years ago. Figaro Ristorante Italiano. The food was OK, but my after dinner coffee was by far the best I've ever had. The restaurant has since closed.

Business suicide. The best way to clear out any store is to send in a homeless. The smell of armpit, shit , and piss would drive anybody away.

God's natural appetite suppressant. Have at it starbucks.

You two are wasting your time and efforts. I have no doubt the homeless folks will do a great job of taking care of this for you. Wink
