Wonder what the "detailed instructions" say about this? On second thought, I don't want to know.

Starbucks Says Drug Use, Sleeping Unacceptable as It Clarifies Guest Policy
Company’s statement is second attempt to explain its new policy following complaints that it would turn cafes into homeless shelters and drug havens

The uproar, which follows the arrest last month of two black men who wanted to use a Starbucks bathroom in Philadelphia

They can't even keep their narrative straight here. This is FALSE.

Those two guys were hanging out for hours at a time like it was a public library and REFUSING to buy anything. I've even heard locally here in the Philly area that they had come to this particular Starbucks multiple days in a row and done that, it had nothing to do with bathrooms.

I know its wrong, but the more I read about this, the more I laugh. Does the Hipsterbuck's policy state anything about whether people can bring their grocery store shopping carts into the store? Big Grin

It's true and still recommended. I sold my shares a few months ago for another reason, but also knew that I probably wouldn't hold them for long knowing I completely disagree with their policies.

If and when their policy leads to unintended consequences, will Starbucks admit they screwed themselves with their liberal policies?

Never. It will be the evil conservatives fault that the liberal policies didn't work

A suggestion. Hand your leaf blower to a black transient guy with instructions on how to use it.
Then split the legal settlement after they have the cops remove him from their establishment. Win and win. Wink

A friend of mine has vowed to go around every Starbucks in our area and perform a "double-decker". Big Grin

What's a double-decker? Why it's when you take a large dump, but get some in the tank too. It will take them forever to find out where the smell is coming from...

That doesn't exactly work when there's no tank on the toilet.
