I’m terrible with remembering numbers. Given that, it’s really odd that I have memorized the number on one of my credit cards. I didn’t even try to. It just stayed with me. I still remember my childhood phone number and my high school locker combo. But I don’t know anyone’s phone number now.

Other than a few door access codes, SS#, safe combo ATM, only ones in my memory is wife and daughter cell phones. I couldn't tell you my son's to save my life.

DL, plates, etc. is just a waste of precious memory. Used to have credit cards, but with autofill on those I can only tell you the last 4 digits!

My sister, however, remembers the patent number from top of tub faucet from childhood. She is 67....

426-2720.
My parents phone number when I was growing up. Every day, starting in first grade, as I went out the door to the bus stop, my mother would ask me "what's your phone number"?
She did not stop asking until I made it to high school!

A couple old phone numbers
Social Security number
Several DL’s
Several old plates
Rosie’s dimensions (52-34-56)

Outside of that, the iPhone has replaced my brains. I feel
Fortunate I can still do simple math in my head

Like PHPaul, I remember useless numbers for no good reason.

7013007 is number on the aluminum tag for the Rochester 2-barrel carburetor for the 1959 Chevy 283 with manual transmission.

Why?

SSN, safe combination, a few birthdays, my PINs and my phone number. For other phone numbers I rely on my phone and an old-school address book.

remember the same important numbers. I also remember 2 HS girlfriends license numbers, several school friends phone numbers, the phone number of a girl I had one date with, and the checking account number from a bank that doesn’t exist anymore. No clue why
