Well that, and even if you are a crook, you might want to check your deductible and the price of paying someone to replace the windshield...

Most states have mandated that the insurance companies must have a $0 deductible for replacing windshields. So people don't drive around with broken windshields. Florida is zero deductible and many others. Not that I'd advise hitting it with a hammer.

I had a patrol car that was terrible and I used mothers mag wheel polish and it worked fine
