I guess if James Woods wants to be the outspoken Hollywood Conservative, fine.
But AOC replying with....Until then, we're in charge - and you're just shouting from the cheap seats."
Really? If you're gonna try to channel your inner Trump on Twitter, you better be ready for what's coming.

gearhoundsShe seems to be falling into lockstep with history’s socialist “leaders” quite nicely, doesn’t she? I love seeing the dems falling into such turmoil, especially so close to the next presidential election.

FOX News is reporting the New York Post's story, "Where in the world does Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez live?"
"She may be America’s most famous freshman congresswoman, but in New York, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a virtual ghost.
She has no district office and no local phone number, unlike the state’s three other freshman members."
It seems Carpetbagging is still the way to achieve congressional seating.

an odd an particularly glaring denial of those who actually ARE being successful without tearing down the very .gov structures that made their success possible.

Rick LeeWhy would she have no district office? She wouldn't have to pay a dime for it, wouldn't have to step foot in the place and it can only help her with her constituents. Outside of large cities, elected officials have several district offices because their districts can cover large geographical areas. It's even easier in a place as densely populated as the Bronx. Open one office, it's all covered by the fed. gov't., hire a few staffers to do routine casework for your voters; you can't lose. I'd be surprised if AOC even had to lift a finger to make all this happen. Her CoS should probably be handling it for her.
Remember when Bill Paxon married Susan Molinari? Their districts were several hours from each other. Legally, the only residence they could really live in together was in DC. But each had homes and offices in their respective districts.

bigwagonShe's going to find out quickly what is meant by the old adage "all politics is local." A huge part of the reason many in congress effectively have lifetime appointments to their seats is because they know how to work the system to take care of their constituents and build the kind of ground game that lines the right pockets and takes care of the right people and builds a grassroots network that mobilizes every election cycle to get them re-elected. AOC will ignore this, hopefully, at her own political risk.

Also very true. Politicians seem to forget that they work for us. We hire them and we pay them with our taxpayer money.
Unfortunately, we cannot immediately fire them.

As we've begun to read, if she keeps pissing off people in her own party (and I don't see that ending anytime soon) they may just re-district her out of that seat. You can't wipe your feet on the senior members of your party in Washington and New York City without it eventually coming back to bite you. And best of all AOC is soooooooooo stupid and inexperienced, she's likely to walk right into a trap set for her.

Oh hell, we're not suffering at all. This twit is going help in getting Trump re-elected and we get to see her melt down along the way if Pelosi doesn't shut her up.

sdyKamala Harris sounding like Cortez
https://www.breitbart.com/clip...g-in-green-new-deal/ Harris said, “There’s no question we have to be practical. But being practical also recognizes that climate change is an existential threat to us as human beings. Being practical recognizes that greenhouse gas emissions are threatening our air and threatening the planet and that it is well within our capacity as human beings to change our behaviors in a way that we can reduce its effects. That’s practical.”
King asked, “Can we afford it?”
Harris said, “Of course we can afford it,”
King said, “Two-and-a-half trillion dollars, $3 trillion for Medicare for all by some studies. Depending on which portions of the Green New Deal you choose to do first, that’s money. You know what Republicans are going to say, ‘tax and spend liberals, pie in the sky.'”
Harris said, “
It’s not about a cost . It’s about an investment. And the question should be, is it worth the cost in terms of the investment potential?
Are we going to get back more than we put in?” xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
tax tax tax the American public. Because it is such an "investment" opportunity. What BS
