Did you see her Tweet at Trump today—that's she's gotten under his skin? To be sure, she's gotten under my skin. She has 41 pages here. These memes—she's laughs them all off. When the best people can come up with is to criticize her college dancing video (not here thankfully), it's a problem. She has an ignorant audience and a lot of confidence and I don't see it waning.

That guy is selling the same poison, but he's a much more articulate and widely appealing foe.
Beto nearly took Texas and that scares the hell out of me. First for Texas moving so far to the left and second, Beto's national appeal. We've not hear the last of him.
I heard that ol' Beto was looking to run again. He's moving to Baton Rouge and changing the spelling of his assumed name to Beteaux... born Cajun dat one dare... LOL.
As I posted on the previous page, that quote attributed to me was in a post where I quoted Chellim1--those are his words. I do agree with him, though.

Nope, she's just begun her new career. We'll be dealing with her for decades.

Exactly, and we’ll be paying her pension for many years to come. She’s hit the lottery.

This isn't the reassurance I was hoping for.

parabellumShe's a punch line. You have nothing to worry about. Some of these guys will tell you otherwise, but they don't share my optimistic view of the world.
he he. That's funny.

c1steveI also agree that the more she epitomizes the extreme left, the more long term Dems will leave the party. A win for us in the long run.

How so? Won't they just further pollute the Republican party?

GraniteguyThere is a real possibility that she will be around for a while - the folks in Washington are really enjoying the entertainment value. The question is - how long can stupid run before stupid runs out?

If there are rust belt, blue dog, Jim Webb types who are still clinging to their jackass membership, perhaps this crazy-eyed commie fraud will finally convince them that their party has no place for them and some will become independent while others might jump over to the Elephant.
Those disaffected blue dog types would make far better allies than pukes like Flake, Kasich, Love or Benedict Mittens.

sdy https://townhall.com/tipsheet/...as-finances-n2539122Democratic Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is set to join the House Financial Services Committee, which is chaired by none other than Rep. Maxine Walters (D-CA). Democratic sources told The Hill she was recommended for a place on the committee, although the full roster is not yet available. Back in December she told the Democratic Steering and Policy Committee she would be interested in the House Financial Services Committee.
The Committee oversees all components of the nation’s housing and financial services sectors including banking, insurance, real estate, public and assisted housing, and securities. The Committee continually reviews the laws and programs relating to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Federal Reserve Bank, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and international development and finance agencies such as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. The Committee also ensures enforcement of housing and consumer protection laws such as the U.S. Housing Act, the Truth In Lending Act, the Housing and Community Development Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Community Reinvestment Act, and financial privacy laws.

Again, this is solid gold.
Let her try to 'make her mark' under the lunatic Maxine Waters, probably the one Dem who can drop kick her ass and survive AOCs Twitter rants, being a crazy Black Woman.
I don't doubt that there was some method to Pelosi's madness on that assignment.

rusbro Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Says She’s Going to ‘Run Train on the Progressive Agenda’Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez mocked her critics in a Washington Post interview, telling them to “enjoy being exhausted for the next two years while we run train on the progressive agenda.”
According to Urban Dictionary — not always a reliable source, but useful in this case —

Can you imagine the outcry if a republican had uttered the same threat back when they took the house?

Il CattivoNot really, but she will fit in perfectly with the music and media industries.
Another thought struck me - if Pelosi's stacking the House Financial Services Committee with idiots, does this mean that Pelosi either doesn't expect or perhaps doesn't want any major legislation coming out of that committee before the 2020 elections? It's not like she can get anything too visionary past the Senate.
