To me, she does not seem very bright nor very articulate, however, there are many politicians just like her and even more voters who vote them into office.

No one is getting expelled. The GOP has two years to figure out how to convince voters to vote their way. I’m not sure they can do it. They blew the last two and lost the House.

One of my friends, recently retired from the Agency, was tasked with giving freshmen Congress critters their security briefing. He said many of them were ashen-faced afterwords, learning the nature and number of threats against this country exist.

Sadly, this knowledge is swept under the rug as their other indoctrination meetings are all about how they can feather their nests, use the franking privilege to pay for re-election mailings and so on.

For make no mistake, the day after winning an election becomes the start of the re-election campaign. And that is the #1 matter each and every elected official considers 24 hours a day.

I wonder how she's going to react when the DNC tells she's going to have to spend 35 hours a week calling rich people begging for money.

I suspect the more senior democrats in the house are going to have their hands full trying to tame the young, enthusiastic but ignorant Ocasio-Cortez to shut her mouth. She probably thinks she now has a platform from which to spew her socialist garbage, but there's a time and place - she is going to have to be taught to pace herself and get with the larger program.
