Commie Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez-Macarena-Hey-Macarena defeats 10 term Democratic incumbent
Since the DEM Joe Crowley is still on the ballet, I wonder if the DEM bosses are thinking of passing the word to vote for Crowley.

Originally I thought this woman was simply young, idealistic, and inexperienced, but after listening to a few interviews with her, I think she's simply stupid on steroids.

The ignorant child has no more excuses. Anyone who is paying even the slightest attention to all of this can see the truth of the matter. This dolt has nothing to back up her commie rhetoric, and I do mean nothing. She isn't even familiar with basic facts about our government, and she just makes up shit in her interviews. Just flat-out makes up shit. It's remarkable that she thought no one could see this and that no one would call her on her ignorant, lying bullshit. Frankly, it shows that she just ain't that bright.
Here's a chance to put 100K in the coffer of some leftist bullshit organization AND get her fabulous, brilliant ideas out there...and she's turning it down.
Even leftists can figure this out. That's how very obvious this is.
Perhaps Ms. Macarena-Hey-Macarena can respond by calling Candace Owens a lesbian who is cat-calling her, or perhaps she can accuse Ms. Owens of not being "black enough".

I honestly believe the left prefers their reps to be ignorant, obedient puppets. They’ll do whatever they’re told to do, what they’re expected to do. People just like Maxine Waters. Trained barking seals.

I am not sure AOC is as scheming as some people think she is. I think she grew up attending public school and was indoctrinated to believe in socialism, and that's about it.
She was never exposed to any other ideas other than those espoused by her communist teachers' ideas, and she was never thought HOW to think - just WHAT to think. Everybody she ever associated with was indoctrinated the same way, and therefore, her utopian, communist ideas have always seemed universal to her and her associates. She was always taught to believe that any one who didn't see things the way her and her associates do are automatically "hateful" people with "bad intentions." And, during her "education" (indoctrination) she would always be given a high grade as long as her teachers knew she was drinking the cool-aid, which has given her the mistaken belief that she is very intelligent, and educated.
One thing I've learned is there are a lot of people who don't have the capacity to realize 1.) they are not as smart as they think they are, and 2.) those who disagree with your views are not necessarily stupid or evil.
I think poor AOC is a less than highly intelligent girl who truly believes "democratic socialism" would make the world a better place for everybody and anybody who dares disagree with that notion is a very bad person.
I even suspect there are others advising her throughout this joke of a campaign, and it is they who discouraged her from participating in any real debate. She probably thinks she could hold her own in a debate -even with Ben Shapiro!
Of all the enemies the American citizen faces, the Democrat Party is the very worst.

I think she is as conniving as she appears; however, that doesn't mean she's smart.
I think she senses opportunity. She's trying to leverage every SJW trait to that end; e.g. female, Hispanic, "outsider", "caring", "woke ". So yeah, she's ambitious and wants to strike while the iron of SJW sentiment is strong.
Oh, yeah-IDK how she swings, but I think if she's in a pinch, she'll declare herself to be bisexual or homosexual, just to add one more layer of invulnerability to her..um..credentials.

She said she’d debate Ben Shapiro if he doubles his offer of $10k to $15k.
when Ocasio-Cortez returned to the district for a Bronx community meeting with prominent healthcare activist Ady Barkan last Tuesday, her campaign manager, Vigie Ramos Rios, later told the Chronicle, she was “mobbed” by reporters, “even though we said no Q&A and no one-on-one [interviews].”
According to Ramos Rios and campaign spokesman Corbin Trent, that unwanted attention led to a press ban both for last Wednesday’s listening tour stop in the Bronx and Sunday’s in Corona.
“We wanted to help create a space where community members felt comfortable and open to express themselves without the distraction of cameras and press. These were the first set of events where the press has been excluded,” Trent said. “This is an outlier and will not be the norm. We’re still adjusting our logistics to fit Alexandria’s national profile.”
Asked if it was hypocritical for Ocasio-Cortez to ban the press from an in-district community meeting after weeks of interviews with prominent publications and rallying with candidates in other states, Trent said the campaign is committed to maintaining a positive relationship with area media outlets.
“After our primary victory, the campaign had what we saw as a unique and limited opportunity for Alexandria to use her elevated platform to speak about issues affecting our district to the national media, and to campaign for other progressive candidates around the country,” he said. “By working to get other progressive candidates elected, Alexandria will be securing more national voting power for the people of Queens and the Bronx.”

Thank you. I was inspired in the moment.
There seems to be a pattern developing- she won't debate anyone, even when she could do some good for the charity of her choice and even after her taunting of conservatives that everyone on the right is "scared" to debate here - and now she's barring press from events that are public, not private. It's the Hillary Gambit. Once a candidate realizes that actually answering questions from the press is detrimental to the goal of being elected, play a stalling game and avoid any un-scripted questions.
I would say that at this point, she's not the shoe-in everyone thought she would be, because she's very much in danger of losing a chief co-conspirator- the completely biased "press".
Will she be introducing a bill in Congress to prevent the reporters and C-SPAN from the House chamber? Winning passage of this measure would be difficult if she refused to participate in a debate about it.

Yup, a communist might indeed, pledge to withhold allegiance to the U.S.
