Iron dome is actually an Israeli system, built over there. The company that makes it is Raphael. They do a number of joint projects with US companies. They have another air defense missile system called David's Sling / Stunner, which is a joint project with Raytheon. I don't think Iron dome is one of those projects. On the flip side, the US is buying some Iron Dome batteries for it's own use.

In point of fact the Israeli defense industry is something of an R&D department of the US DoD.

In short, we (the US) help supplement their defense budget, like giving them a grant, we're cutting them a check and telling them to go buy more.

Iron Dome is an indigenous Israeli design, I believe all components are made in Israel. Aide like this is under the umbrella of supporting and cultivating democracies, especially in such a part of the world as volatile and unstable as the Eastern Med. We used to give large amounts of aide to Egypt as well, also under the guise that it would promote democracies and stabilize the region...that hasn't been as fruitful as the relationship with Israel. Basically, here's some cash, keep the bad guys away and under your thumb, plan on working with us on a few things in the future.

If she thinks it's so terrible, why didn't she have the guts to vote against it?

I’m still not convinced she’s not some sort of actor playing a role and being directed what to do and say at all times.

Not to say rape didn’t happen-it did. And you can tell within minutes of interviewing a victim if she really was raped or sexually assaulted.

Maybe I’m just some jaded guy who saw too much of the bad side of people and what humans do to each other. But I don’t believe one word of this story from her fellow member of congress, or AOCs tears over her latest vote. She hates Jews.

I'm not a cop and don't have your experience, but I'm right there with you in that this is BS. Having unfortunately listened to Cory Bush run her jaws several times, I'd say the truth is likely more along the lines of she got hammered, jumped in bed with some brother, and through her utter irresponsibility, got knocked up. Then she trotted on down to Planned Parenthood to clean up her mess. Regardless what the truth is, I'm sick of this moron.

She is pretty fragile. Had her office moved because she was fearful of GOP Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.
