BBMWMy neighbors skunk is pissing me off, what can I do?
Back to the neighbor issue, it's not your neighbor's pet. It's a wild animal that may be denning on your neighbors property. I don't know if the neighbor can be held responsible for that.

arfmelI’ve had good luck catching skunks in a cage trap using cheap canned cat food as bait.

dwright1951I have trouble with squirrels tearing up my bird feeders, tried pellet rifle, too noisy, but a 22 rifle with cb caps is almost silent

Rev. A. J. ForsythI live in the 'burbs were it is illegal to shoot ANYTHING. Purchased a PCP air rifle earlier this year. I have killed over 20 squirrels, 3 skunks, and at least 15 chipmunks with it. I shoot from inside my house, 5 feet back from the window. It is absolutely silent and death is immediate with a head shot.

I would get a Havahart trap and trap the skunk in your yard. Then call the County and have them pick up the skunk. Just be sure to mark your trap on the bottom so you get your trap back and not a broken trap or one belonging to another person.
No grubs, only thing I found while rotortilling was cicadas. That may be what hes after since its easy digging. Animal control wont do anything about it.

I don't own a suppressor and it would be illegal for me to shoot it as well.
I am not sure what county you are in but Faifax and Loudoun County in the past have loaned me traps for dogs.

This is along my thoughts also.
How is it "your neighbor's skunk"?

YooperSigsMy local Petunia the Skunk educated most of my neighbors and their dogs in how to politely interact with her. She even brought her kids over to my patio to visit me.

My landlord responded with skunk repellent for the lawn. She then changed buildings and broke in a new set of tenants.
As previously mentioned, she was digging grubs. The retention pond kept her well hydrated, too.
My landlord treated the lawn for grubs and I have not seen her since.

Couldn't agree more. Skunk or not drowning an animal is cruel.
