As the title say. Has anyone else having troubles? Especially on your smartphone? For the last few days I get the message that I have no data service, all the while I have 4G LTE or 3G on the phone working. DuckDuckGo seams to be fine.
I'm wondering if it's my phone, Google or what. Any ideas what is going on with Google and/or my phone. Right now I'm on Google chrome posting from my phone to SIG Forum.
Haven't used Google's search engine for a couple years, at least.
That does not sound like a search engine problem, however, but a network problem.

Probably network. Open Safari and see if Google will load. If it won't, network issue - if it does load go to Chrome settings and clear cache and see if it will load. If it still doesn't load try deleting Chrome and re-installing.

I would love to be free from Google for my own reasons, but they own a lot of sites I frequent like YouTube and Google Maps. In the LEAST, I will not use Google, and I will only use Bing for my searches. This is REALLY here nor there, but I refuse to say "Google." To me, anytime you do a search in a search engine...it is a "search."

DDG is the way to go for search engines. I have abandoned all Google services, save GMail, which I POP from, so as not to use their web interface. They undoubtedly gather some amount of information about me just from this simple use of GMail, though. You can watch YouTube videos without have a Google account, though they pester you sometimes to sign in or use location services on your computer. Apple Maps instead of Google Maps. No Google Earth, either. I can get complete GIS mapping services of Yavapai County from their GIS interactive site, including satellite views. They use ESRI (Environmental Service Research Institute) for their mapping service.
When in doubt, mumble

I have that problem from time to time. Try disconnecting from your wifi for about 10 sec. and then reconnect. For some reason that seems to work for me.

Also, I wipe my cookies several times a day. Sometimes when things get funky, I dump the cookies close Safari and then reopen. If that doesn’t work, I reboot.
