Everyone here has been so helpful over the years pointing me in the right direction I come back to you all with my next adventure.

I like almost all good bourbon's.

I like good Scotches finished in Port cask,Sherry cask or Rum cask.
I also like a good 12+ year old single malt that aren't heavily peaty or to smokey.

I was not a big fan of Rye

So in honor of Saint Patrick's Day my question comes to Irish Whiskey.
What do you all like.

Kanappogue Castle single malt 12 year old aged in bourbon barrels.

Tulamore Dew or Jameson for Blended.

Drink them neat or on the rocks

You could try the originals that were, and are sold in every pub in the country - Jameson and Powers.

If you want to go top end traditional try Green Spot or even better Yellow Spot. If you're loaded get a bottle of Midleton Rare or get the same blend taste a lot cheaper with Jameson Distillery Reserve White Label.

Relaunched and well worth trying are Powers Three Swallows Pot Still and Tullamore Dew.

There are many new distilleries all over the country now. One of the best, in my opinion is Connemera which is reasonably cheap.

My current evening drink is one called "The Irishman"

I was put onto Jameson Caskmates, Stout Edition by a friend in Corpus Christi - excellent stuff, and not exorbitantly priced.

Stout is tasty,

did not get much flavor from the IPA caskmate,

and of course Regular Jamison is tasty,

Powers Pot Still whiskey is crazy good. Their basic whiskey, not so much.

Redbreast for me also, 12yo single pot and 15yo single pot.

Redbreast 12 Cask Strength and Yellow Spot are my two favorites. By far. Of pretty much any spirit. About $100 hereabouts and well worth it. This is something you savor, not kill in a single evening.

Standard Redbreast 12 and Green Spot are a little cheaper and still very good.

I am a Jameson Black Barrel fan. I just love it.

I know I know, the commercial is just a commercial, but it always makes me laugh.

After many bottles of the various incarnations, I've determined that the Redbreast 15 year old is my preference.

I prefer Bushmills over Jameson.

Any how, I brought home this since St Patrick's Day was cancelled. But next week it will be opened!

14-year Redbreast is hard to beat.

Another vote for RedBreast

I have had the good fortune to be able to sample varieties of Jamesons, Bushmills and Tullamore Dew on site.

However, of the ones available locally, Bushmills Black Bush has the best flavor/cost ratio for me.

If I'm mixing up drinks, Jameson or Paddy works well (both under the Irish Distillers umbrella). For sipping, I'm partial to the offerings of Pearse Lyons Distillery.
