0-0iPhone camera operation help requested
When i take pictures, sometimes i see a timer running out. Don’t want it, never asked for it and i’d like it gone until i summon it back, if ever.
Same with some pics that look like i blink before looking at them. Why on Earth?
Why can’t my camera work like a simple point and click and just add a flash if required ?

gpbst3I think your talking about a night/low light option. It counts down from 3 seconds.
I have an iPhone 11.
Top left corner to the right of flash (lightning bolt) is crescent moon with lines. Click that. Look above the white circle to take pictures. There should be a line grid/ hash marks. Swipe right on the hash marks and it should switch night to off.

NismoThere is a timer setting. Tap the top icon that looks like an arrow like this ^
The timer icon is on the bottom menue. It looks like an analog watch face. Turn off the timer and you are gtg.

SIGnifiedOn the latest phones/software I believe you may be recording a video snippet. Don’t hold your finger on the button.
If it is just a one and a half or three second timer upon one click it’s probably a low light situation using a Long Exposure. You can alternatively just turn on the flash. But the night shots look great.

kkinaIs the timer a numerical countdown or a little analog clock?
