So is the stabilizing brace the now restricted part or only when it's on a pistol?

The article from Reuters had so many inaccuracies that it was pretty much as useless as the ATF. National Rifle Act (NRA) vs NFA etc.

How do you report it? They don’t have serial numbers.

Does the rule require reporting and identifying the firearm it is attached to?

What if you swap it between firearms?

Sounds like bullshit to me.
