For Christians: Looking for input on an idea for a printing of the Gospels
I recently bought a waterproof NT - and it’s Ok. The printing is very clear, but quite small, but the binding does not seem very durable.

I have some small Rite in the Rain Journals which can go through washing machines, etc.

R in R will do custom runs of 2500.

Would a set of small, waterproof, very tough volumes, in say 10-12pt print be appealing?

My idea is that instead of phone scrolling, people could slip a gospel in their pocket, and read through it, then move on to the next.

One of the largest issues for Believers, seems to be Biblical Illiteracy.

So much easier on my phone than carrying something else in my pockets. I have You Version Bible app on my phone and tablet. It is available in 69 languages and about 75 different Bible versions NIV, KJV, etc. 15 Font sizes and 6 installed Fonts with a ability to add more.

Bible App.

You also may have copyright issues to deal with.

You might want to call Bardin & Marsee Publishing. They specialize in Waterproof bibles.

AI says they have a large print edition but I can't find it on their site.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." I have their waterproof NT.

I now understand the reviews which mentioned having them rebound.

I sympathize with your effort, Aglifter. I also don't care for the phone-hosted Bible, and prefer physical books.

I do, however, use the phone or desktop computer to conduct searches which steer me toward reference verses. I then find them in a physical copy, and go from there.

I have installed a Bible at my workplace, and have one on a dedicated desk at home. I ought to put one in the car too.

Where the waterproofing is a priority would be camping. I try to go camping every couple months. I take my Bible with me, and I do worry about it sustaining damage. But, at the end of the day, I can get another. I assign no sentimental value to my Bible. If I did, I'd leave it at home, and take a different one with me.

All this to say that I'd be interested in R in R individual gospels, but I am sure they would be relatively spendy. Considering my current approach, I don't want for Bible access. I am in it daily, and I'll take one with me if I am away from my home base circumstances for extended periods.

Bible app. No scrolling… no reading fine print…
It reads it out to you. Many options for lesson plans etc.
