I'm at Eagle Ridge in Groveland. I figured they were all doing it.

Here in IL. Jewel/Albertsons usually run choice Rib Roast, bone in, for either $5.99 or $6.99 per pound around every big holiday.

We were never big into Jewel but we sure loved Dominick's. I remember when Omni and Cub Foods were still in the area. I actually used to do a decent amount of grocery shopping at Super K when they were open 24/7.

Years ago I would NEVER consider buying meat at Jewel.
In the last few years there meat quality has gotten much better, maybe due to a couple owner changes.

My mom would always say Jewel doubled their prices when they ran their BOGOs. Big Grin
