Who identified these as brown recluses?
Most people think any brown spider is a brown recluse. There is a scientist who studies them - in the midwest somewhere, as I recall. People send him hundreds of brown spiders every year at his invitation. He wants to know where they actually live. Very few of them are actually brown recluses.
Brown recluse bites are probably greatly over reported. Even doctors ascribe bites to them, when they don't know what else to blame.

GeorgeairMust be the area. We had an office infested with these in Clarksville many years ago. INFESTED!
After a fortune in remedy including tenting the building and pumping in some crazy toxic gas under watch of the fire department they were all gone.
For about a month.
We ended up dropping the client and walking away from the location as our only solution. Eventually one of our employees was going to get bit and sue the crap out of us.
