Tonight is BLT & beer night with [loud] war movies (her diet precludes the BLT part and she despises war movies like We Were Solders).

Tomorrow will be a spirited drive through the mountains (Mt Palomar and Laguna) followed by washing and waxing. With a BLT & beer for dinner

Sunday is gun cleaning day. And the requisite BLT & beer.

Big Grin

As an optimization, there seems to be more opportunities to eat bacon - breakfast and lunch

Enjoy. sounds like you have the base's covered. If you can work it in. Do something that will surprise her and that she will like. You know, something that she mentions on occasion. That may benefit you once she arrives back home. Just say'in.

Enjoy the peace, my wife was recently away for an 8 day work trip and it was heaven. Had the house to myself with the dogs and other than a spirited cleanup did exactly what I wanted to do.

Enjoy! My diet makes this kind of living impossible. Wife or no wife, I would have to eat the bacon, lettuce and tomato without any bread and switch out the beer for straight vodka. But I survive.

These go to eleven.

I think you have a solid plan!

Although, as the forum rules state on page 101, without pics it didn’t happen.

That definitely better than what I’d have for dinner when my wife was gone. Most nights was SPAM with steamed rice and fried eggs. That’s only when I actually ate food. Otherwise it was sweet tea and cigars for dinner. Big Grin
