Even if you don't like spiders, you have to agree this is a beautiful Blue Tarantula ( Poecilotheria Metallica), thankfully native to the deciduous forest in Andhra Pradesh, in central southern India.

While not a fan of spiders at all, I just love seeing the color blue in nature - Bluejays, peacocks, etc. It's relatively rare and usually magnificent.
