Anyone having issues with ArmsList? The local (Greenville, SC) listings haven't updated since Saturday.

I contacted them a few days ago, but haven't received a reply.

I hung with them a while after they started the fee. Like most things, they may of run their course.

I cancelled 6-9 months ago, kinda backed off buying anyway. If just looking, many of the business sellers have enough info to contact them without an account.

Wasn't their stated reason for the fees to weed out the scammers? I don't know how that's supposed to work. But I've done a few deals where the seller had contact info in the ad. Seems crazy they don't strip that stuff out of ads, if they really need the fee revenue. And if they don't need it, they'd get a lot more traffic without the fees.

Guys, I'm asking whether anybody's having trouble with the site updating listings, not your opinions on them charging fees or whether there are scammers.

Armslist is good for a laugh but that’s about it, my buddy and I usually send each other hilarious listings where somebody will put a new trigger and back plate and slide stop on a Glock and want 800 for it and say “I know what I got” in the description, but I don’t miss it. Too many idiots who want to rip you off, waste your time or think that their gun is worth what it was new plus every penny they put into it plus interest

In short, it is a mess.

I too gave up on them after they started their fees, but to answer your question, I just looked at the local listings here and there have been a few items added over the last few days, including the 17th through today.

It used to require you to have a paid membership to list guns for sale. Now you have to have a paid membership to shop. What a rip.

It seems to be getting updated okay, but I think less are using it. Mostly same stuff that is way overpriced keeps getting bumped to top. I only use it now occasionally, then cancel after done.

The Yoop Armslist is mainly FFL dealers. No real deals were seen the last time I looked it over.

Yes the tucson listing haven’t updated in over a week. I was wondering myself what was happening.

I called them and it’s the “power search” function that’s causing the problem. Use the search bar at the top and then filter to your location after that.

The biggest a$$hole I ever tried to deal with was one trying to sell a rifle on Armslist. Haven't looked at it since and that was over 10 years ago.

How hard is it to fix the problem? I'm a developer and that should be an hour or two fix, at most.
