While I don't do it myself, I spend a lot of time watching it and things related to it. And I've always been kind of torn on it. Even if they're not leaving a mess, trash and whatnot, they're leaving "roadway", rubber and oil stained rock everywhere.
Agreed and the solution is to figure out what is acceptable and allow that to continue. If it’s the noise you don’t want, eliminate the noise source.
Need to start using some intelligence, and before you say anything, I know that the least intelligent collection of people are those that get elected and make the ‘rules’. They forget that while we consent to be governed, that consent can be rescinded. This message has been edited. Last edited by: nhtagmember,
BLM has always had its issues. I don't have experience with that area but I do have a lot of experience outdoors in wilderness-type areas.
In the last 5 years or so the number of people using the outdoor area has increased insanely. Good for people who now want to experience the outdoors but fuck respect those areas. My favorite spot on the East Coast to backpack, Dolly Sods, has become a shit hole. If your going to backpack in the outdoors learn how to deal with your own shit and learn how to pack out all your trash. This is a spot I would go to twice or so a year and spend a few days and nights. Backpack, tent and just enjoy nature. Haven't been in two years. It's become so crowded people want to fight over finding a spot to park. Used to hike for hours and not see anyone. Now people are everywhere. My biggest problem is all the trash people want to leave around. That and the Instagram crowd. Rant off just enjoy the outdoors and leave it better than you found it.
