Governor Jay Inslee (D-Washington) sent an eerie letter to his supporters on Monday predicting that they are in for a summer of "blackouts, destruction, and death" over the alleged climate crisis.

The letter was sent directly after Gov. Inslee gave tacit support for destroying four dams along the Snake River which account for 8 percent of Washington's annual electricity generation, Environmental Director of Washington Policy Center Todd Meyers reports.

The email warned that heightened temperatures will "catastrophically" disrupt electrical grids nationwide, resulting in death.
"It's shaping up to be a deadly summer," the email reads.

"As the climate crisis worsens, we're facing the most extreme weather in history. While Washington state faced the wettest start to the summer in over 70 years, other states are preparing for sweltering temperatures that will catastrophically disrupt our fragile electrical grid. That means blackouts, destruction, and death. Just look at the headlines."

Governor Inslee and Senator Patty Murray (D-Washington) released a draft report in early June, saying that breaching the Snake River dams would allegedly be the best way to save Snake River salmon that are on the Endangered Species List.

Center Square reports that the proposal would cost taxpayers between $10.3 billion and $27.2 billion, as finding other ways to provide irrigation and electricity does not come as an easy feat.

Meyers has long warned about removing the dams from Snake River which has been a topic of discussion in the state for decades, stating that the removal of the dams would be akin to "destroying every wind turbine and solar panel in Washington."

"Annually, the dams generate about 8.3 million megawatt hours of electricity, or 8 percent of Washington's energy," Meyers wrote in a piece for The Seattle Times. "That is more clean energy than is provided by all the wind and solar facilities in Washington state added together."
During legislative session earlier this year, Gov. Inslee vetoed House Bill 1623 to address the "risk of rolling blackouts and power supply inadequacy events," despite the bill unanimously passing through both the state's House and Senate.

"Ensuring that our electricity grid continues to reliably provide power to Washingtonians is a priority for me as well, which is why we have multiple state agencies already working on this issue," Inslee wrote in his veto letter.

Most extreme summer weather in history? I didn’t know we have weather records dating back to the time of Adam and Eve. Who knew?

Ice ages, volcanic eruptions, floods, meteor impacts, how soon they forget.

In lots of parts of the country, the electric grid is toast from lack of repair and mismanagement.

Sounds like what Governor Douche Sock is saying is "things are going to be decent this summer in Washington, but don't let that stop you from living in a constant state of fear."

I have been hearing the same "the world is coming to an end" from climate alarmist for as long as I can remember. It was either we are going into another Ice age or all of south Florida will be under water by the end of the last century because the ice in the attic will be all melted.

I love it when watching the news and they say this is the hottest summer or coldest winter since the late 1800 and then people say we have to give up our entire way of life to save the planet not realizing climate runs in cycles.

Those same people have no problem with China or any other third world country destroying their environment, then they think we have to destroy our economy to make up for their pollution.

If I am not mistaken I think this is the year Soylent Green takes place. I am sure when that movie came out the climate experts thought this was the direction we were definitely going, maybe not the eating people part.

Jay Inslee (aka Kim Jong Inslee) used to be my US House Representative. I spoke to him twice - and could feel myself getting dumber each time. I have kitchen utensils smarter than he is...
AND, Jay Inslee is also a patronizing jerk - but no surprise there...

I was a 4th grader in Oregon when the 'Weekly Reader' had articles about Acid Rain. It terrified the snot out of me. My grandmother bought me a yellow slicker and a space helmet (yep) so I could walk to school and not melt from acid.
My uncle, not a tender man and in my father's absence, explained that it was nonsense and walked me to school without a hat. We had a long talk and he didn't melt.

That was 1953 and we are still trying to scare little kids and half-wits. Seems to be working.

Same kind of fear mongering going on here. First regular summer heat is portrayed by the media as "dangerous heat." After thinking the American people would never put up with long lockdowns and mask mandates, and witnessing just that. I used to think no way Americans would put up with blackouts. Now I'm not so sure.

Every day I grow a little (maybe a lot) happier to have moved out of that communist infested State. Cool

While I know that not every person in WA is a scumbag Lee-bore-Al, I know first hand that the majority are... and its gotten a lot worse since we left.

It'd stay frozen solid longer if we kept it in the root cellars but we don t have root cellars in Florida.

That's right... keep promoting electric cars, battery powered lawn mowers, weed whackers, chain saws, etc., that all need to be plugged into that fragile power grid.

Sounds like the type of guy who would dill holes in the bottom of a sinking boat to let the water out.

IF you actually work for your constituents, low.

We believe arming our fellow Americans – both physically and philosophically – helps them fulfill our Founding Fathers' intent with the Second Amendment: To serve as a check on state power.
