BBMWOK senator Inhofe retiring mid-term
He's 87, and I guess he decided he's done. There will be a special election to finish his term. Being Oklahoma I assume this is a safe republican seat, or is there any chance the democritters could steal it?

ElToroDoesn’t the governor of a state choose a senator if one drops out mid term ? Thankfully the OK a governor is / seems decent. I’ve seen him on Fox News a few times. Good thing there is solid 4+ years before the replacement has to run

OKCGeneHe is recommending his chief of staff, Luke Holland, to fill his position.
Rumor at this time is that it may be a health issue, either for him or his wife. He is 87 now, wife probably about the same.
