OK senator Inhofe retiring mid-term
He's 87, and I guess he decided he's done. There will be a special election to finish his term. Being Oklahoma I assume this is a safe republican seat, or is there any chance the democritters could steal it?

Doesn’t the governor of a state choose a senator if one drops out mid term ? Thankfully the OK a governor is / seems decent. I’ve seen him on Fox News a few times. Good thing there is solid 4+ years before the replacement has to run

The gal that puked in the teens girls shoes has to be the most grateful person in the world that Putin rolled on Ukraine and knocked her peccadillo off the news cycle.

He is recommending his chief of staff, Luke Holland, to fill his position.

Rumor at this time is that it may be a health issue, either for him or his wife. He is 87 now, wife probably about the same.
