Good news...Marky is still in surgery. Long procedure, 10 hours and counting. But that means he can be saved. GB and right lobe of liver removed so far.

Finally got some post-op results. By the end of the 10-hour procedure, surgeons had removed the planned 2/3 of his liver, his gall bladder, and some tract. Repairs done to damaged arteries. It would have been perfect had not a trace amount of cancer remained that they could not safely cut out of the bile duct. This will have to be dealt with through chemo/radiation.

Its still a fight for life with a cancer this malevolent, but at least he does have a fighting chance. For the moment it's PT and pain meds until he's ready for the next stage of treatment.

Thanks once again for all the support.

Sorry about the need for chemo and radiation. Sounds like his medical team is top notch. Optimistic that they can target the remaining cancer and get him into long term remission. Best wishes
