Favorite auto you have owned
Back in the day I had a few that I wish I still had:
- 1962 Chevy Impala convertible
- 1969 Chevy Nova, 327, 350HP, stick. This thing ate Corvettes for lunch.
- 1964 Triumph TR4A (shitty electrical system)

My current Summer fun car is a 2008 Pontiac Solstice GXP convertible with 3 pedals!

That is Honor. Unfortunately there are way too many people in this Country who no longer understand that.

1970 Dodge Challenger, 340 V8, automatic...it was my car for most of the college days; but being it was used and abused for 14 years before I got it, the upkeep was too expensive for me.

The one I wish most I had back though is actually my '89 Ford Ranger XLT, V6, five speed manual. Up until about three years ago I'd still see it occasionally at Home Depot.

1993 Mustang GT 5 speed. That car was a blast.

I cannot agree more! Here is mine, all original except for a couple engine mods.

All 3 of my Honda Accords. Almost 600K combined over 25 years and not a single service related failure. (other than stuff I broke when being stupid)

Had a couple of interesting ones while in college:
An Opel GT - was a hoot to drive, but not the most solid machine. Had some good giggle in it, but don’t miss it at all.
A ‘78 Datsun 280Z - that thing was a blast. Rode like it was on rails, went like a scalded cat when you put your foot in it, just pure fun. I wish I hadn’t let that one get away...

VT: I had one of these, also on of my very favorites. I believe this year was the absolute peak of small design features for 'best looks'.

Citroen: mine was an ID-19 similar vintage. Remains perhaps the very best 'passengers comfort' car of the over 200 vehicles I've owned.
The 1961 K-G was the last year that had a non-synchromesh first gear. Had to double clutch to downshift smoothly into first, for example, if slowed way down, ready to stop, and the traffic light turns green.

Yes on the comfort for the Citroen. After my uncle rode in it, he said that he wanted the seats for his living room.

I had a 2004 Pontiac GTO with the 5.7L engine in manual. An absolute blast to drive. It loved going through rear tires for some reason...

We’ve got a 911 now, and it’s everything I hoped it would be when we bought it. We joined PCA and I have taken a leadership role for N Colorado and SE Wyoming, organizing driving tours and a monthly breakfast, pre-Covid. Nice bunch of people. Still, I still find myself pining away for the ‘65 Chevelle SS, I had all those years ago.

I’ve had some great F150s over the years and the 2013 FX4 I have now is no exception. It’s got just under 90,000 on it and has never presented a lick of trouble. I recently made the decision not to trade; I think I’ll just keep this one. Think I’ll put some money into it, in addition to full service, change out the shocks for Bilsteins, take it to a detailer for paint correction and ceramic, maybe some custom wheels...

2001 Silverado 2500HD Extended Cab Long Bed, 4x2 with a 6.0L. I bought it in 2010 and still have it. It's simple, reliable, and will haul anything I ask it to. No unnecessary options...it has an AM/FM radio, vinyl floors, window cranks, and manual locks. Very few options, but everything works as it should. It's just a good, reliable, honest truck. It's got 220K on the clock and still going strong...the rust will get her before the drivetrain gives out.

In the mid 60’s ( I think ) I owned a MGB in BRG, I loved that car, fast as hell, great in corners and attracted a lot of attention when the top was down. I wish I had never sold it....

Ordered a 1976 Monte Carlo with swivel bucket seats, deep green metallic with a full beige vinyl roof (Looked good on that style) and ten years later added a 1985 red Supra. The Monte stayed with my family till '06 and the Supra motors on.
