Man Once Child Twice |
Any dietary problems? I can’t do cheese? Any other restrictions? I’ve read the LiveStrong info. Chicken? Beans? What do you think?

I would suggest you ignore fad diets and just follow basic healthy eating and exercise recommendations based on scientific evidence. "It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. As he said ^^^ Be wary of the quackery. Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here. Huh? I've never heard of such a thing as dietary restrictions due to blood type. Had to do some googling. Most decent references seem to agree:

Like so many things that suddenly become fads in our incredibly rich society that allows a tiny minority to indulge themselves, literally billions of other people have lived and still live their lives without even becoming aware of such notions. In the past it was snake oil that would cure all our ills, today it’s this or that wonder diet. In fact, what actual evidence there is about such things indicates that when parents restrict their children’s diets just because, such as not feeding them peanut butter when young, that they increase the likelihood of their developing a genuine allergy to peanuts. At one time such a thing was virtually unknown, but now it’s become so common that many (most? all?) schools prohibit peanut products on the premises. And that doesn’t even touch on the whole concept of raising children in sterile environments. I foresee a day when half of all Americans would starve or die of the vapours if sent to a foreign land (e.g., in the military) and were forced to eat local food. ► 6.4/93.6

There is a book that defines the food for different blood types. Mine is O+ which are meat eaters and have strong digestive juices. The information for my blood type did show strong correlation from my experiences. http://www.4yourtype.com/?gcli...E49YCFZSIswodlmcKxQ# Here is an overview of Type B blood and some for the diet recommendations. I would get the book and see if some of the suggestions affect your well being. http://www.dadamo.com/txt/index.pl?1006 Also your metabolism slows down as you age so you should eat lighter meals to live longer. 41

Back in school we did it in 9th grade biology. We used the dropper bottle and microscope slides but as with everything these days, Amazon sells several kits... https://smile.amazon.com/s/ref...rds=blood+typing+kit --------------------------------------- It's like my brain's a tree and you're those little cookie elves.

One free way is to go give blood. The blood bank will type it and inform you.

Please explain WHY people of various blood types can't or shouldn't eat certain foods. That doesn't pass any sniff test. If you don't understand the why of this, then it doesn't make a lot of sense to put any credence in it. There has to be a scientifically tested theory of why a thing is true before you believe it - not just correlation. (And mere correlation in one or two instances doesn't mean anything anyway. You'd have to find widespread correlation. And then explain why.) Sounds like quackery, fad-diet mumbo-jumbo to me. It looks like D'Adamo is in the business of selling diet books and related products. They wouldn't make any money selling a book that concludes blood type and diet are unrelated. Haven’t you been reading this thread? Reverse engineer it: Think about what you don’t like (or do like), get the book, and see which blood type matches your likes and dislikes. When you buy a blood type patch for your tactical vest, you’ll know which one to choose without all those needles and stuff. It’s almost science, so how could it be wrong? ► 6.4/93.6

I know that AB- prevents good sleep. Good scientific reason, too. Way back in the dark ages my college roommate was that type. He was one of the few with that blood type registered as a willing donor. For whatever reason, from time to time the hospital had a desperate need for his blood. I just assumed Dracula had ordered a drink and preferred it. But he'd dutifully get up, answer the phone, toss on some clothes and drive over. Sometimes they'd even have a courtesy car waiting out front. The need was desperate. And they didn't much adhere to the limits on how often he could give. It apparently was life or death for someone, not for him. And I don't recall all the stuff about universal donor/reciepent. It didn't matter, again like Dracula, they wanted his blood and he lived close. Sometimes they'd even give him a certificate for a free steak dinner. Said he needed to build up his strength. I always figured they'd taken 2 pints those times. Unhappy ammo seeker

The "Eat for your Bloodtype" books, recommendations, websites, etc. are just as much horseshit as any other fad diet. It does make the author money though so there's that... It has to do with your DNA which affects how your body responses and utilizes what we eat. The Type O blood was the early people that eat a lot of meat and have very strong stomach acid. Next we had Type A and Type B blood while Type AB blood is the latest. Each blood type has different responses to disease, etc. This has all been studied, etc. As we age, your body becomes less efficient and what you eat and how much has an effect on your life span. I have strong stomach acid and if I get stressed, I can have stomach problems long term. The doctor wanted to take my gall bladder out back in the mid 80's due to job stress but I declined due to the fact that as you age, you would have less stomach acid and need to take a digestive enzyme. 41

What a crock of you know what. I am A- The recommendations are exactly opposite of what I eat. -.---.----.. -.---.----.. -.---.----.. It seems to me that any law that is not enforced and can't be enforced weakens all other laws.
