He misunderstood how to kill ants with gas. They don't like gas, it harms them and will force them to leave their colony.

Reminds me of first call I responded to back in the day volunteered with local fire dept. It was dispatched as fire and explosion at a residence. We pulled up and everything seemed normal enough. Found a gentleman (home owner) and his son in backyard. He had attempted to burn trash in a fairly large pit. Gasoline vapor on a warm day ignited and blew every window into the back of the house and out the larger windows in front. Did I mention it was a brand new house? At any rate, he asked us to remove our boots before inspecting the house; his wife would be ill if we soiled her carpet!

I’ve used a Rodenator before to eradicate gophers from our field. Eat your heart out Bill Murray.

That's the best lawn aeration I have ever seen! Just hope he's not on septic.

I've wanted one of these ever since I found out about them a few years ago!! I've got a good friend that is a landscaper, and I've tried to talk him into adding the Rodenator to his business offerings. Had him watch some YouTube videos, even offer to be partners in purchasing the equipment.
Both his wife & my wife think he & I will just blow ourselves up. They're probably right...

I think they are safe. Just make sure your rodent hole doesn’t go under any pavement.

I'm looking at that and thinking he must have some underground chambers/tunneling that allow air/fuel to mix for that explosion to occur.
I'd like to see more of that type of work by homeowners.
Imagine if ones septic field were ventilated with sewer gas and right amount of 0x and got lit off.
Very Entertaining!

That guy is in idiot. I remember years ago when I started my first job in the fire dept. in Pahokee, Florida, we got a call for a structure fire that started in the kitchen. When we got there, the fire was out and when I asked the lady how it started, she said she had ants and was spraying gasoline on the walls and counter tops in her kitchen. The idiot had a NATURAL GAS STOVE. I don't understand how some people live so long in life with the mentality they have.

We'll at least he was successful.
If you look in the upper left of the post-explosion dirt pile, you can see the twitchy critter.
