Are they protesting the rumor Phoenix will be raising import taxes on soy based, non-dairy milk at Starbucks? On a serious note though; whenever i see "protesters" dressed to hide their identities (or attempting to), i no longer think of them as protesters and more of them being radicals hell bent on violence. The only one that I would worry about is the jihadist in the center. The others would limp-wristedly lose the gun after the first shot. Commies and an Islamo-fascist, quite the mix.

I looked online and could not find any mention that it is illegal to open carry a loaded long gun.
