Anyone know the reason for limiting which states the program is available?

California will always be difficult.

Here's some other details as I understand-

Glock has a number of sale programs for LEO, medical/First Responders and active military.

There are Blue, White and Red programs. And the Glock pistol cases may have different color labels as well.

It should be noted that the various colors below only started when Glock went to the clamshell style cases. This occurred after the beginning of Gen 3 pistol production. Early Gen 3 pistols still came in the old Tupperware style cases that were updated to fit pistols with finger grooves.

There are at least seven Glock pistol case label colors seen in the U.S.:

White: Low capacity magazines (mags do not exceed 10 rounds)
Red: High capacity magazines (high capacity mags hold 10+ rounds)
Blue: High capacity magazines. Buyer must meet blue label requirements to be eligible. Can also be govt/mil contract guns.
Purple: Contract overrun guns. Can be sold to anyone, and are not required to meet MAP pricing. Could be just overseas/export contract overruns. These also don’t usually show the quantity or capacity of the magazines on the label in the normal middle lower space. And they often don’t show the type of sites or trigger weight in the upper middle space.
Orange: Factory rebuilt guns. Can be sold to anyone, and are not required to meet MAP pricing
Green: U.S. manufactured for export. These also don’t usually show the quantity or capacity of the magazines on the label in the normal middle lower space.
Yellow: Rebuilt (in two cases I’ve seen, Gen 4 MOS, and cutaway). I’ve heard that yellow labels are just faded orange labels, or just maybe a different supplier of labels for the rebuilt guns. That’s certainly plausible.
For Gen 3, white and red label come with 2 magazines, blue label come with 3.

For Gen 4 and later, all guns regardless of label color come with 3 magazines. An exception to this are the slimlines, which come with two magazines.

I had about decided to jump on a Glock in .45 but nobody seems to have one in stock.

Given the current climate, I can't say that I'm particularly surprised. I've got my name on a couple of waiting lists just in case one surfaces before the deal expires.

Amazing marketing by Glock on this program. I've taken advantage of their blue label program many times.

Wish Sig had something better than their IOP. Glock makes this so simple and the savings are significant. But that's one reason why they're a leader in this market.

Thanks for the heads up! Went to my local blue label dealer right here in town and found that they had quite a few blue label guns in stock. I had always wanted a full size 9mm model to go along with all my other Glocks so I picked up a Gen 5 Glock 17 for $460 plus taxes and fees.

This is the first time that I've used my DD-214 for a blue label purchase. I had previously used the program when I was still drilling with the Guard or volunteering with my EMS squad.

Might have to visit my lgs this week, that's a great price on a G26.

Do they need the long form Dd214? Or will short version work?

I read about the Glock Veteran deal on a local gun forum here in Louisiana.

You could get a Blue Label Glock from Memorial Day to Veterans Day.
So I called a local store that was a Blue Label dealer and in less than a week they called and told me they had my gun.

Took my DD-214, my LA DL and my LA Concealed Handgun Permit and picked up my new Glock 43x.

Price with tax was $390 something.
