Trying to find a new laptop for the GF.

She bought a Chromebook and is going to return it because it just isn't powerful enough.

She is going to use it for business and needs it to:

- Be able to run Facebook and Instagram (she communicates with clients here).
- Use Office 360
- Camera capable
- Wants a larger HD for storing pics.

I'm assuming it will need more RAM due to the background stuff Facebook is always running?

Her phone and tablet are Samsung; should we go with Samsung laptop as well?
Would they 'sync' the way Mac products do?

Budget is $800, possibly higher if really necessary.

Will likely buy from Best Buy.

Thoughts?

I buy Lenovo for people at my company that want PC laptops

You can usually get a good one for ~$800

Costco has 3 (2 HP w/ 1 TB HD, 1 Lenovo w/ 512GB HD) under $750

Refurbished Dell Latitude from Woot.com. Stick with 5000 series or 7000 series.

This is the same model as my work laptop, and I just picked one up for my personal use, a few weeks back from the Dell Refurb site, it was $870.00 with a 3 year warranty, including accidental breakage/spilage.

Dell 7490
