Good groomer for beards

I have just grown my very first beard and was wondering what people use to trim and shape their beard. Cordless would be great if possible.

I've had numerous brands over the years given I've had a beard since 1974.

Currently have a pair of decade old Wahl #9879 beard trimmers along with an again old Wahl MC clipper to handle the chores.

Certifiable member of the gun toting, septuagenarian, bucket list workin', crazed retiree, bald is beautiful club!

Philips cordless, 18 bucks. I've got about 30 months on mine, with no issues.

My go to beard groomer is corded Wahl peanut. Have tried a few cordless beard groomers over the years but always end up back with the corded Wahl peanut.

I have a Philips Norelco Multigroom All-in-One Trimmer Series 3000.

About four years old. Not fancy (CCP made), but gets the job done. $18 from Ammozon.

Yup. That's what I've been using for years, after burning through a couple Wahl cordless trimmers. The Peanut is a great little corded trimmer. Small, light, manueverable, and no batteries to die.

1st- Congrats on reaching puberty. 2nd- I’ve been happy with using several
different Wahl’s over the years. Just pick one that has the accessories and is the right one for your needs (corded/cordless etc). Also use their dog trimmers- on the dog.

37 years with a corded Wahl trimmer. Somewhere around a buck a year if my memory is right. Have not had a minute of trouble.

I will back the others, Wahl is great.

However, much of their basic stuff is no longer USA made.

I use the platinum cordless trimmer and it was made in the USA.

Conairman i-Stubble. It has a built in adjustable comb so no extra pieces. Has lasted me a few years as of now. It is the only trimmer I've found that trims closely enough to create the stubble look that I prefer.

Yes I finally hit puberty at 57.

I actually just retired and for whatever reason have never tried growing a beard until now.

Trying to narrow things down. To the guys that use the peanut do you use the one that actually looks like a peanut like this one.

The peanut I use is the 2nd one.
