slim pickings still. see some that might be about 10 years old still going for $400-ish. new seems like $500. 10 years old and only 25% off? these things hold value better than 4runners.

no rush do i’ll keep looking but may need to consider other brands.

Look into the one I linked on the first page, it's a great value. It may not be super high end or perfect, but it's a great value for what you get. Bass is a little loose, but for watching movies it's perfectly fine.

Sony XBR TV. Integra 50.6. HK amp feeding the fronts. Paradigm tower speakers. Energy satellites. Energy 8” sub. Despite the room, it’s decent for 2ch music and theater.

I’m finding the sub lacking for home theater. Lack of depth, bass, presence. Watching action movies are not as satisfying.

I don’t want to break the bank. I’ll be looking for a used unit. Hopefully under $300.

First, what size should I get? 8”, 10”, 12”? Brand? Rel? Rythmic? SVS? Paradigm? Polk? I’ll need some choices since I’m at the mercy of used offerings.

I have a Cambridge Soundworks 12 inch sub. It's old now, but it kicks butt. If you can get your hands on one, I would.
