Love my ax’s. Upgraded from a 6s and there’s a tremendous difference. Battery lasts all day and it’s extremely fast. Love the facial recognition also.

I'm not sure I'm following what you are trying to say here. Is the 6s screen actually better than the screen on the XR?

I know the XS and XS Max have better screen than the version in the XR, but the XR has a higher resolution than the 6S screen.

If comparing between the 7 and 8, which would you get? Is the 7 with the aluminum rear case a bit more durable than the 8 which is glass? Wireless charging sounds cool but not sure I would use it.

I have an SE now that has been great but is slowly having more issues, I don’t want a big phone.

Not sure the X is worth the higher price for me, I don’t need/care about facial recognition.

If you're on the fence about the facial recognition and removal of the button, it's definitely worth it. I had major problems with my large thumbs and the button on the 7. No longer an issue. The battery life on the Xs Max is incredible. The screen is stunning. My biggest complaint is just the size, but you can actually watch a live game or read on your phone and it's very easy to view.

If you can live without a tablet like we do, then the Xs Max is really worth it imho. I only went with 64gb to keep the price down but haven't had any space issues. 2/3 empty. I had the 128gb iPhone 7 and hardly dented the storage. I think my wife had about 12-15gb of data on her phone after over two years. So something to consider if you aren't a power user or back-up to a pc.
