His Royal Hiney |
What I do is put the stuff in my basket. Then I open up a browser to go to smile.amazon and then I can process the order. "It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

It's the same for the 2nd Amendment Foundation - you can log in through their Amazon portal on the 2AF home page. 'veritas non verba magistri'

I have mine set to HawkTalk, as well. But what I do not like is every time I log into Amazon, I get a "Smile" pop up box. I have tried to quit "Smile" because of this, but the tech support reps say there is no way. I may be eventually forced into creating a new account, just to get rid of the whole "smile" annoyance. Too much crap to wade through just to do my business. Perhaps the "smile" beneficiaries can influence Amazon to quit this crap.

Yeah, it's genius really. Amazon was already going to donate money to charity. You get to pick where the money from your purchase goes. That incentivizes you to buy from them and buy more of it. Your charity gets Amazon charitable dollars they might not have received otherwise. It's a win/win/win. I usually rotate them around. I'm currently on our local Boy Scout Council.
