Recently, my wife lost a pearl earring that was a match to a pearl necklace that I had bought for her several years ago on a business trip to the Orient. We drove to 2 local suburban Detroit jewelry stores to see about buying a replacement pair of earrings. At our local stores we were not able to find exactly what she wanted. My wife was fairly sad that we could not find the style of earrings that she wanted. On the car ride home, I told her about Dave Truong and Mimi’s Jewelry and how many of our fellow forum members have had really good, successful experiences working with Dave to create the jewelry they were looking for.

I emailed Dave that day. We exchanged a few pictures…and here they are! A pair of pearl earrings that match her necklace and are mounted to the type of setting that she really wanted. She happily wore the earrings to work, saying that her ‘uniform’ was complete once again!
