Calls for a boycott against Walmart are mounting over items promoting the impeachment of President Donald Trump sold on the retailer's website.

The hashtag #BoycottWalmart began trending after the items, most with the words "Impeach 45," were offered on Walmart's website, Fox News reported. The items were made by Old Glory, a Connecticut-based company, but sold via Walmart.com. Other impeach Trump items were also available via Walmart.com, as were items bearing the president's signature "Make America Great Again" slogan.

The "Impeach 45" clothing was still available on Walmart's website as of Tuesday morning.

Trump supporters have taken to Twitter to complain to the retailer.

I thought Wallymart was smarter than that.

When will these people learn that antagonizing/alienating approx 50% of their customer base never works out well?. . .

It's not Walmart, it's one of the thousands upon thousands of "3rd party" stores that both Walmart and Amazon have.

A quick search finds other 3rd party vendors selling MAGA and Trump clothing on Walmart.com, and both Amazon and Walmart have "Impeach 45" and 'MAGA" clothing listed by 3rd party sellers.

A big nothingburger, IMHO. This is the sort of BS the left tries to drum up to distract us and make us seem stupid.

Oh, and Old Glory, the 3rd party seller who had these shirts up for sale... THEY ALSO MAKE PRO-TRUMP SHIRTS.

They’re just catering to their food stamp/welfare customers which is just about all of them. Can’t stand going into wal mart for anything. The quality of the shopper alone is normally what keeps me out. This will just reinforce why I won’t shop there.

It appears that Walmart "sub-lets" space on their website to nearly anyone.

They will probably want to reconsider some limits.

I couldn't care less. It's called the 'free market' for a reason. They also sell MAGA hats, so buy what you want.

Walmart sells a lot of things that I don't buy.

As long as they also sell pro-Trump merchandise, I really have no problem. Offer both, let the buyer decide.

As soon as I see a hashtag or social media app reference I’m done anyway. These clowns are free to purchase their boycott shirts. Dipshits are just stimulating the current economy. They had boycott Barry shirts too, real big surprise here

If they stop 3rd party vendors from selling Impeach 45 garbage, they piss off liberals.

Amen. I get several of my prescriptions filled there. Ammo, beer, other groceries. Too handy.

I can't stand Walmart and avoid it when I can. I am even willing to pay a little more not to go there but living in cornfields and cows country leaves me with no practical choice for some items.

As rule I don't shop at Chinamart. I did take a moment on live chat with a Chinamart agent. I asked what the point is in offending 50% of the customer base. He/she was equally puzzled. I don't like Chinamart because it's all Chinese crap in there and I hate stuff designed to fail prematurely....even if it is only 14.98
