I see this as a big orange 10" diameter excuse for at least two containers of Cool Whip topping. Never knew a pie could come from a sweet potato. I have another whole pie.. Big Grin. OK, its missing a few slices now.

Damn, it's too late at night to think about pie.

Nevertheless, I ponder it.

Ponderin' the fuck out of it.

It’s quarter to 11 here, and I just finished making 7 small chocolate soufflés.

I think I’ll do a pie next. I think I may have a problem.

At least I’m now posting this from the gym parking lot.

Walmart used to sell those Patti Labelle Sweet Potato Pies that I heard people were crazy about. Not a flavor I care for, so I can't vouch for it.

My Grandmommy Allen, rest her soul, made awesome desserts.
Know for her pecan pies, she was no slouch with Sweet Potato or Buttermilk.
She also made what she called a Butter Roll that I have yet to find an adequate substitute for.

I don't remember mother EVER making a Pumpkin pie. You think you like the Sweet Potato pie? OK...try a Butternut Squash pie.

You're welcome...

I used to make a killer sweet potato bourbon pie, haven't in perhaps 10 years Frown. I always preferred vanilla ice cream instead of whipped cream.
