iFiles - copy many type of files to/from iphone - from/to computer, play many video types (ie mkv,mp4,mpg), stream video from media server. I use it mainly to transfer videos to my phone without having to convert to MP4 & use iTunes to sync.
GoTasks - simple app that syncs Google Tasks
Microsoft Outlook - nice that I can access my mail, calendar all in the same app, also shows you listing of your email attachements.

Hands down:
Mr. Number
It's the best free number screening app I've found.

I used to use Call Blocker Free with my old android v2.3.6 phone. But my new android 7 unit has this function built in which works flawlessly. I'm also awaiting the update to android oreo scheduled for my phone this month.

Another vote for Waze. And I use a local TV station's weather app a lot.

Who is stopping you? On an iPhone you can delete most of them, then any that wont delete, drag them into a folder you never touch again.

Use a good number of the ones already listed. (Love Sky Guide and have it set to alert me 5 minutes before the International Space Station passes overhead).
Also check out: Dark Sky and Radar Now weather apps Halide camera app (allows manual focus, ISO control and RAW image capture option) Bible and Bible Study apps Atomic Clock Hornady ballistics calculator Walmart app - can scan QR code on receipts and get rebates for price matches

Google Maps... The Built in Apple maps has gotten better, but Google Maps is still king.
BulletDrop. I have the paid (couple of bucks) version, but the free one is usable.
Google Photos. Set it up and it will automatically back up all of your photos (unlimited) for no cost.
Gas Buddy
PhotScan. A neat app to scan and photos.
Google Calendar. It's what I use
Camera+ Gives you quite a few additional controls over the built in camera app.

Moon - free app that does nothing but give the current phase of the moon. Tonight is a waning Gibbous moon that is 97% full/illuminated. It also gives cute notifications if you allow them.
PodCruncher - paid app. This is my favorite podcast app because it's flexible when it comes to creating custom playlists.
SC Gamecocks/IMG Sports - live broadcast of Univ of SC sports
At Bat - subscription - I listen to MLB games
Audible - subscription - audio books
Key Ring - holds membership/loyalty card info. No more digging for my CVS or Ace Hardware card--the cashier can scan it on my phone. App offers coupons, but I don't use that function.

A must for smartphone camera buff's the Halide app, seamless integration with an iPhone!
Chick-fil-A app. Order ahead, go inside or wait in a special parking spot and get your food. Sometimes, I can go in and get my food in less than 30 seconds. Also, you earn free food after a certain amount of purchases or get free food just as a gift.

Waze - Great GPS navigation app.
Pandora - music.
Alarm Clock - It is what I use as an alarm clock for my iPhone or iPad at home or when traveling.
Weather Channel - For weather forecast.
There are several other apps, but they are specific to things I own that have their own app.
