I’ve taken out $5000. My credit union said that’s no problem but it is their limit per person per day.

Unless a reg changed, lots of banks do not check their currency.

Personally, I get cash from a bank which runs the cash through a counter/counterfeit detector, in front of the customers.

In areas with more yacht traffic, I assume the banks have more cash available - unless something has changed, fuel in many places has to be bought for cash.
