Las Cruces,NM police officer was stabbed then later died. The knife wielder was shot and killed by a witness. Same old story the thug was felon who should have been behind bars. Las Cruces Police Chief Jeremy Story said Armando Silva, 29, stabbed Hernandez with a “large kitchen knife.” After Silva stabbed Hernandez, he then tried to attack a bystander who witnessed the incident. The witness then retrieved his own firearm and fatally shot Silva, according to police. ^^^ I’m having trouble understanding how mentioning whether he would be charged or not is even appropriate in the link. I get procedure, but this puts a negative spotlight on the hero.
