I've been to the Aquavia Lumina in the Wisconsin Dells. It was a one mile walk through the woods mixed with a nightclub.

So sorta?

It's about 30 minutes away from me. It's four days of being packed into the mud shoulder to shoulder with all kinds of "unique personalities".

I'd rather do my own root canal with a cordless drill.

It's on a property immediately adjacent to our Michigan Regional Burning Man event, Lakes of Fire. The two events used to be back to back. We had too many issues with the set up/tear down crews crashing the Burn. There is now a space between them.

EF is everything bad you have ever heard about a music festival. And when the participants leave, they leave literal tons of trash.
Never been, thanks.

Why I asked.

A visitor we had stopped by on her way back to California.

She has been to four of them .
She goes with a group of five or seven people.

Turns out concerts are here hobby. She attends ten or 12 per year.

This year was a bit of a shit fest because of the inclement weather.

I'd never heard of it before.

I'd never heard of it either. Apparently, the promoter has a bunch of similar events and they look to make a ton of money on them. I went to the N. O. Blues and Jazz Festival about 20 years ago, and it was a blast. This was before this event promoter took it over. They seem to specialize in unknown musical acts, and what passes for 20's-oriented counter culture these days.
