Opinions on a 2021-2022 Ram 1500 Rebel
My son is interested in a 2021 or 2022 (preferably 2022) Ram Rebel with the 3.0 liter turbo diesel. Do any of you have any experience with this truck and if so, would you recommend this truck?

Thanks in advance!

Head on over to https://5thgenrams.com/community/

Take everything with a grain of salt. You are going to see majority of post reporting issues but it would be senseless for everyone to make a post saying their truck runs great.

We have a 2021 Ram Rebel with the 5.7L etorque motor and have had zero issues with it.

The 3.0 EcoDiesel is currently under recall due to issues with the high pressure fuel pump. Essentially, US formulated diesel does not contain the same lubricity of European diesel, and the Bosch fuel pump failed. Plenty of information out there if you want to dig deeper.

Do not get the diesel. The 1500 Ram ecoDiesel is not a good motor. Avoid it.
