Settled on a new vehicle
I wound up getting a new Kia Sportage.

My wife’s Sorento has been flawless for 5 years. I’m also kind of proud of myself for being practical lol, I didn’t get a 4WD 12 MPG vehicle, even though I was tempted.

27-29 MPG, AWD, and no CVT, IVT, or DCT, just a standard auto trans. It ain’t the forerunner or F350 but it’s mine! I’m sure it’ll do well in the snow up here. I’ll probably change the tires before winter.

That's a good-looking vehicle. Congrats, OttoSig!

And I am glad to hear about your quality experience with your wife's car. After a less-than-stellar experience with Hyundai, the sister company, I would not have had Kia on my radar on my next car search.

I loved being able to drag 20k# of cow and trailer through Georgia wet clay, but that opportunity doesn’t exist anymore… one day!

Great choice. We bought a new Sportage last year with no regrets.

Congrats J. Kia makes a quality vehicle. But you already know that. I agree. Sharp looking rig. I guess you don't need to tow anything.

As far as Kitty clay goes. Either of the two brands at costco work for us.

You will love that car. The wife bought a 2025 Sportage Pro last year. It's been a great car and she has been averaging right around 31 mpg.

My experience with Kia was positive. Bought a new 2002 Sedona. Put over 250K miles on it without any major problems.

Very nice, enjoy it. We need a little more room for the grandkids so we went with the Sorrento xline. Took it on the first real road trip and got 29.5mpg. Good vehicles

A sharp looking vehicle. Get a car wash package, especially for the winter. Then you can wash off all road salt.
