RHINOWSOReport: Fallen Air Force Tech Sgt. Approved for Medal of Honor
Long overdue.
While the exact facts will never be known of those chaotic hours, it doesn’t matter.
He fought and died bravely, as a hero.

I’m glad his heroism is finally being recognized.
His actions were recognized at the time. This push is to get his award for his actions upgraded.
It's an upgrade from the Air Force Cross, the second highest award the US Military gives. Brother medal to the Navy Cross(Navy, Marines, CG) and the Distinguished Service Cross(Army).

jjkroll32Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
Another humbling story from GWOT. Great men that deserve to be remembered and continued to be honored.

BlackAgnesToday's PARADE magazine listed the salaries and net worth of several entertainers and sports figures-- running into millions of dollars for their questionable and irrelevant skills.
TSgt.Chapman didn't earn a small fraction of what those overpaid brats made, yet he laid down his life to keep us safe.
That is true income disparity.
God bless and keep you, Sergeant.

doc45Just heard an interview on a local radio station with Tech Sgt. Chapman's mother about heading to D.C. to receive the Medal of Honor-I thought she said tomorrow, 8/23.
About time.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.
When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson
"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown August 22, 2018, 03:39 PM

Yes, I just realized I was listening to a report that was a repeat from yesterday.

CoolRich59Great video of TSgt Chapman's family arriving at the Pentagon yesterday. It's from Twitter, but I think it should still be viewable.

HayesGreenerIt was a great ceremony. His wife and daughters will cherish the memory for the rest of their lives. This was an honor too long denied.
