I spoke with a friend today he's retired from Border Patrol, his wife is still an officer. He said she is being sent to Texas to gear up for the surge of illegals expected to come in. Every sector is going to have to send people.

Everyone in Central America knows who the President is and what that means.

Y'all need to stop being so critical here. If you were an El Salvadoran and you knew that there was the land of opportunity to the North of you and there was no punishment for illegally crossing the border and taking that country's citizens job, then you'd do the same. Especially when you found out they will give you free healthcare; free college for your children; you can work off the books without paying taxes; you're allowed to buy a house; you're allowed to have a bank account; your children can get a free K-12 education; your kids will be provided two free meals 8 months of the year; you can form your own society within a society; there are aid agencies looking to hook you up with government programs; and no one dare question your right to be here.

Maybe we should consider taking away an incentive or two?

Well, they have one up on me then, because I honestly have no idea who is actually in charge and running the country right now. The only unfortunate thing is that they’re not heavily armed

And to think when I first started in law enforcement, illegals actually feared us contacting INS or any other agency in reference to their status.
I would not be shocked if they changed the name of that agency soon. I hope your friend's wife stays safe.

Plus you get the right to vote (at least in CA)

I am a broken record here. America is a nation of immigrants, we should welcome immigrants who want a better life for themselves and their families, IF they are willing to "upgrade" their standards and live American principles.

But many (most??) come to America for the free ticket on the gravy train, and demand we let them keep the cultural norms from their homeland that create the dismal conditions they are trying to escape.

back in my INS days the El Paso sector we averaged 1000 detainees a day in the slower years. With the new open borders it wont matter how many agents they send we are going to be flooded with aliens. Food banks are going to empty and hospitals are going to be filled with people who have ne intent on paying.

On another note one of my friends who was with the Border Patrol back in the 90's. He worked with the group that came up with the estimate of how many illegals were in the US in the mid 90's. The number they told the Clinton Administration was 32 million illegals. Clinton cut the given number in half and they used 16 million during his second presidential run. The 11 million number is a wild ass guess but no way it is down from 32 million. I'll bet we will be around 50 million by the end of the Biden administration. They will never admit it because that but the dems are gonna get a hold bunch more slave labor to add to the welfare and social security rolls.

That's what they need, they need dependents to stay in power.

If he has a massive medical issue not much will happen. He is not in charge now and has not been. He is the puppet dangling from strings controlled by someone else. And IMO cameltoe is actually running the white house.

Now throw in that Biden has re-opned the evil Trump child border prisons, er, I mean "border facilities to house migrant teenagers".
