Finally made it home and got one set installed, probably keep the other set as a spare rather than put it on one of the other 10’s. Original post: I posted a while back requesting any information on a source for Blaze Orange Sig grips for a P220. After striking out with suggestions and my own searches i was contacted by Mr. Ken at Hogue and he mentioned that he would do a personal order using Hogue's existing designs. Which is what I was after anyway. Its my understanding its the same G-10 color used for some Hogue knife scales but dont quote me. Regardless, the bottom line is that Hogue is a company large enough to succeed without taking on the extra time and energy to appease one customer ordering 2 sets of grips. However, not only did they go out of their way, they did so graciously and with more courtesy than a customer could ask for. You have my respect and future business whenever I can give it. Thank you Mr. Ken and your staff. One set for SAO and one for DA/SA. Ill get photos on the P220 10mm's once i get back to freedom. For now... This message has been edited. I love Hogue. I'm a big fan of the basic rubber grips and run them on most of my pistols, as well as my 870 forend. They seemed like good people when I chatted them up at SHOT several years back. Nice to see their customer service is above and beyond.

And their toilet seats are pretty rad too! (Yes, I'm serious.)

That's awesome! I'll just add that I love the G-10 grips. I recently removed some expensive Nill grips in favor of the G-10 grips. They are more "grippy". But... basic black: "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

I had to look that up. I was expecting something made in G10, but no, it's a heated toilet seat.

They also make non-heated versions. I've used those for years, both in my old master bathroom as well as my new one. A bit pricey, but more comfy than a standard hard seat, and no issues with wearing out or cracking like the cheap padded seats. It's a similar coating to their overmolded grips and rifle stocks. Plus, you can brag to the guys that you have tactical toilet seats by Hogue.

I have Hogue grips on almost all my pistols, and some rifles too. I am a big fan. I haven't had to use Hogues customer service for about 15 years, but, they were great then, and am glad to hear they are still great. BTW, I had called them about cleaning their rubber grips, and they told me to use WD40. Yes, it works. Glad they could work something out for you! Mike You can run, but you cannot hide. If you won't stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them.

Those look good. I like G-10 grips. The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything.

Now there's a product waiting to happen - Hogue tactical toilet seats in black, FDE, & OD. If they took off, they could add gray, digital camo, etc.

You laugh, but I might actually buy them in gray if they offered them. My current master bathroom is black/white/gray/navy.

I think I'd buy a overmolded style toilet seat!

Talk about a whole new meaning for "getgrip"! Or is that when they changed their website URL?

The Hogue checkered aluminum grips work best for me. My 10mm P220 got Hogue grips before it even chambered its first round. Stocked up on the European P220 aluminum grips as well. Got some on my P238, P226s, and P220s (yes, I have more than one).

I wish they would bring back the black aluminum grips that incorporated the Sig Sauer block logo on them. I'd buy two for my Sig P225 pistols.

They used to be in Paso Robles on the central coast. And maybe 30ish years ago went to a gun show at the Santa Clara fairgrounds with my dad and Guy Hogue himself was manning a table. Have both rubber and wood hogue grips on various autos and revolvers. Great company
