If you go with MTM try and get the newer boxes that have a hinge instead of the flexible plastic piece that isn't really a hinge.

I use a couple cheap Index card file boxes. The cheap simple ones. https://www.amazon.com/Emraw-I...x=index+card+&sr=8-9 Remember screwing jarS by their lids to the under side of a shelf. Cheap good solution and you can easily see whats in the jars! Collecting dust.

Wal Mart, school section. They have “crayon boxes” of various sizes. Lids have little snap locks. I bought a bunch a while back for storing fuses and other stuff for the travel trailer and my truck. Only drawback is they’re cheap Chinese crap so I don’t know yet of durability and won’t be knowingly buying any more crap from china.

I use food storage containers with lockable tops that are often sold in bulk packs that contain a variety of sizes. Have found them in places such as BJs, Costco, Target, etc. The ones I use for the most part have either been retired from kitchen duty or bought on sale around black Friday. Think the last ones I bought were from Target for under $15 made by Rubbermaid, think there were about 20 or so containers in a variety of sizes. They usually are semi clear plastic so you can easily see whats in them. I then store all of them in a milk crate so that I can easily move them or take them along if I am working on a project. I have also found that the ones I use have been pretty durable, made from a similar plastic as the Plano boxes. They do make lighter weight plastic ones but I do no think they will hold up as well.

Not to mention I'd have to eat a super-human amount of peanut butter to collect enough jars for all the different screws, nuts, bolts and washers I have. "America is at that awkward stage. You're supposed to screw the jar lids to the rafters like the good old days! _____________________________________________________ Sliced bread, the greatest thing since the 1911.

Something like this is what I use. They are stackable. You can also put the driver bits and pilot hole drills in a compartment. Label the box like wood screws, sheet metal screws, decking screws. If the screw is to long for a compartment. Just cut a divider out between two compartments. Say you are working a fence project you just take the whole box with you. https://www.harborfreight.com/...?_br_psugg_q=storage Beware the man who only has one gun. Look at the PLANO boxes for fishing, they have nice plastic boxes with or without dividers in many different sizes.

That's what I use for the boat parts, screws, rivets, etc., divide as required for the parts contained.
