Plastic Storage Boxes for wood screws
I have a drawer full of boxes of screws and such. Typical size wood/deck screw boxes.

Some leaking, torn...etc and the drawer is full...

Would like to transfer them into a plastic boxes, individual, w/ lids.

No racks...no bins...just a lidded plastic box.

You'd think this is easy but on searching I get racks, contractor carry cases, boxes with dividers, etc etc.

I want a simple plastic box with a hinged lid. heck, some of the screws I bought come in plastic already.

Figured someone has these already...

Thanks...

I use the Plano 3600 size with movable dividers. If you want something smaller, Midway sells bullet boxes that would be suitable for one size per box.

Kreg KSS is an individual container, but it doesn't have the hinged lid you are looking for.
Same box that the pocket-hole screws come in.
Expensive for what you get. For the same price, you can get a Plano & use the dividers. If you have multiple lengths in a size, it works.

Check out Harbor Freight.
They have a bunch of stackable bins in all sizes as does Home Depot in their Husky brand (I used for reloading) and I am sure there are a shitload of others out there.

Saw those...$7.99 a box. Heck, I could but the screws all over in a plastic box and save money.

Thanks though...

These may be too big depending on how many screws you need to store. Available in qty from Amazon.

Plano also has a huge selection. https://www.planomolding.com/s...ng_stowaway_size=542

For small amounts, I like the Harbor Freight containers. For larger ammounts, wide mouth plastic jars from peanut butter, pickles, and mixed nuts work well.

No dividers as stated...but thanks.

The 3600 is also made with one single compartment.

That would be too big.

I'd like one plastic box per old cardboard box of screws.

Seems easy right...but there is a big hole here in the internets...LOL.

Watching with interest. Same problem as the OP.

Bought four of these STOREHOUSE 12 Drawer Storage Organizer at HF year-before-last. That was a mistake. Turned out to be totally inadequate for my needs.

I think I was pretty clear in the OP on what I wanted...

Some of those are of a size similar to larger boxes, like a standard box of 16p nails. From OP I suspect he's got a blend of these plus a bunch of smaller boxes half that size of smaller screws/nails.

Some of suggestions may not even fit in a drawer, but I'm watching with interest as I have a full-width drawer in a toolbox/workbench that looks just like OP described. everything from 3p finishing nails to 5" deck screws and most in between. The individual boxes make sense for ease of carrying to other places on/off property as well as keeping items separate, but I too can't see spending $2-4 per box.

Jars are a pointless suggestion for many of us who have no shelf space for that, nor undercabinet mounting area.
