First a nephew's appendix ruptured or went septic or something, he looked bad, abdomen turned black, operated on and doing ok I'm told but then today... his Mother tripped over a rock, fell and broke her wrist and her femur just below the ball. Operations expected on both breaks tomorrow. She is in a lot of pain tonight. She is a widow. Family making plans for who and where to best bring them home to care for them.

Update: Well... what to say, now a third. Step Granddaughter, mother of two, stepped off a curb into a pot hole obscured by standing water and twisted her ankle breaking it in three places.
