henryazSnow in Wickenburg, enough even for a snowman
In the early morning hours today, we got about 1/4" of snow. It's gone now, washed away by the rain that followed. This is only the second time in our 16 years here that we've had snow enough to cover the grassy areas. Wife was out early and made us a snowman.

Just a bit north of us, there was quite a bit. 4" in Congress, just 10 miles north. Wilhoit (which is where the range is I shoot at often) was expecting 2ft. Wilhoit is 13 miles south of Prescott.

Un-Freaking-Real. My parents bought a house in Green Valley for retirement. In the 15 years they spent there it never got close to having snow. They're probably thanking the good Lord that they're in heaven now

Watch out for self-righteous Prius drivers when you get to Prescott.

And the pedestrians that make every light long-cycle by pressing the cross button.
P.S., you might want to take a left at Kirkland Rd. and use Iron Springs Rd to Prescott. It's more likely to be cleared/drivable than the mountainous twisties on 89 north of Wilhoit.

It was snowing rather heavy from daybreak and the rest of the day down here in Green Valley and it seems from the news reports Tucson got more than we did.
Evidence of the new little ice age beginning? The last one was winding down during our American Revolution.
Are we going to lose our wonderful winters?
Stay safe
